World Suicide Prevention Day: Carrying the Baton of Hope

On World Suicide Prevention Day, we reflected on the importance of hope, conversation, and community.

In September, Alternative Heat was honoured to join the Baton of Hope initiative in Banbridge — the UK and Ireland’s largest suicide prevention and mental health awareness campaign.

By standing alongside our community and supporting PIPS Hope and Support, we aimed to raise awareness, break down stigma, and remind everyone that mental health support is always within reach.

Every year, 1 in 4 people face mental health challenges, yet too many still struggle in silence. Events like this highlight the power of connection and the message that help is available.

We are proud to have played our part in carrying the baton — and carrying hope.
