DII CEO visits Alternative Heat’s Dundalk facility

11 September 2026

Alternative Heat recently welcomed Ronan Kelly, CEO of Digital Infrastructure Ireland (DII), to our manufacturing and assembly facility on Coe’s Road, Dundalk, where he met with members of the team and saw first-hand the work supporting the mission critical digital infrastructure market.

The Dundalk facility is one of our regional operations, supporting both Irish clients and customers across Europe with the manufacture and assembly of offsite MEP solutions.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the growth of the mission critical digital infrastructure market, the importance of strong local supply chains, and the role of sustainable innovation in meeting the demands of an increasingly data-driven economy.

Speaking during the visit, Ronan described Alternative Heat as:

“A home-grown success story that has built an international business directly employing over 500 people.”

While onsite, Ronan was given a first-hand look at the offsite MEP solutions taking shape in Dundalk, showcasing how Alternative Heat’s manufacturing capability supports the closed-loop systems being delivered across projects throughout Europe.
