We were appointed as principle contractor for this prestigious project and worked in conjunction with Argyll and Bute Council representatives to design and install 10No. Biomass Energy Cabins with wood pellet fuel storage and associated fuel equipment.
The 10No. Biomass Energy Cabins were designed in modular units and fully fabricated and delivered to site. By designing the Energy Cabins in modular units, the plantroom installation could go underway whilst the civil works commenced for the bases. When the civil works were complete, the Energy Cabins were delivered and positioned on site ready for comissioning within 3 days.
The prefabrication and site works for the Biomass Energy Cabins were strategically programmed to enable us to carry out work on multiple sites at the same time, allowing us to reduce the overall project delivery programmes by 3 months. Full Revit 3D plantroom drawings were provided to the client prior to commencement of fabrication works to ensure the best possible layout was achieved.
