Alternative Heat specialises in the design, supply and installation of a wide range of Off-site Prefabricated solutions for the commercial M&E sectors throughout Ireland and UK. Through continuous investment within our teams, and our facilities, we have grown strongly over the years and established ourselves as a leader within the offsite pre-fabrication industry throughout Ireland and the UK.

Due to continued growth we are looking to integrate an Office Administrator to support our growing HSEQ team in our fabulous new Head Quarters based in Banbridge. This post is permanent contract. Role

To provide administrative support to the HSEQ department. This includes efficient and effective maintenance of all routine and non-routine administrative procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide general administrative support to the HSEQ Team.
  • Perform data-entry, documentation, printing and filing duties.
  • Ensure that the computerised HSEQ information systems and registers are accurate and updated regularly.
  • Assist in the preparation and co-ordination of HSEQ training sessions.
  • Monitor Sub-contractor/supplier databases and correspond when necessary information is due.
  • Ordering PPE stock and company workwear and ensuring adequate supplies.
  • Company fleet administration and reports.
  • Assist in the development of HSEQ Quarterly themes and campaigns.
  • Coordinate department meetings – organise, facilitate and minute taking.
  • Ensure compliance to ISO requirement.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by Management.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or equivalent, these must include Mathematics and English Language
  • Relevant experience working in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail skills.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Desired Criteria:

    • Previous experience in arranging and scheduling training
    • Previous experience working in a construction, engineering or manufacturing background.

Location:

Head Office, Banbridge

Hours:

08:00-17:00, Mon – Thurs, 08:00 -15:00 Fri

Salary:

Competitive depending on experience
