Rooftop Plantroom delivered and commissioned at HMRC Leeds site

Alternative Heat’s rooftop Energy Centre delivered and commissioned at 8-storey HMRC office project in Wellington Place, Leeds.

For this project Alternative Heat have designed, prefabricated, delivered, and commissioned a prefabricated LTHW and BCWS Energy Centre, with full ‘Plug & Play’ connectivity providing maximum reduction in on-site works requirement and associated on-site programme.

All fabrication, fitout and FAT testing / pre-commissioning were completed within our dedicated fabrication facilities, providing the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and predictability, with all works completed under Covid-19 safe working conditions, in line with government guidelines.

Plantroom build comprised 2No. 3.4mx10m structural modules to include full LTHW and BCWS provision. Mechanical fitout comprised 3No. 381kW gas boilers, system pressurisation and filtration, cold water storage tank, as well as distribution pipework connections and pumpsets to serve all LTHW and BCWS circuits. Scope of works also included full electrical and plantroom BMS controls, with full connectivity and integration with building BMS.
