At Thornbury Primary Leadership Academy, we were proud to support the wider decarbonisation programme delivered for Star Academies, โ helping transition from traditional gas systems to a more sustainable, future-ready solution.
Working within a live educational environment, our focus was on delivering key mechanical and electrical works that would integrate seamlessly with the existing infrastructure โ maximising performance while minimising disruption. This project demonstrates whatโs possible when specialist delivery meets smart design โ enabling meaningful decarbonisation without the need for full system replacement.

โช Installation of ๐๐๐๐ (Low Temperature Hot Water) ๐๐ข๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฌ within a purpose-built external compound, complete with acoustic treatment
โช Integration of ๐๐๐ (Domestic Hot Water) ๐๐ข๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฌ into the existing plantroom
โช Full plantroom upgrades including volumisers, and new BMS panel to drive the system
โช Installation of ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐&๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ
โช Targeted upgrades to existing systems, including radiator replacements and Air Handling Unit (AHU) efficiency improvements
