IDM Heat Pumps

IDM are based in Matrei in Eastern Tyrol, Austria and have been designing and manufacturing heat pumps since 1977. The company has invested heavily in research and production and has become synonymous with quality and reliability.

The current product range is quite extension with options for earth, water, air and sun systems. The launch of fresh water technology for hygenic hot water preparation in 1987 represented an important milestone. Since 1997, they have concentrated on heat pumps for heating and hot water. With the growing demand for alternative energy sources, the company also grew at the same time. Right from the start, they have based the business on progress, quality and a customer service focus. A key principle in the IDM philosophy is that people are the heart of the business. This also includes guaranteeing a secure job for many people in the local area. IDM offer the complete range from ground source, air source and water to water with outputs ranging from 5kw to 500kw.
