As a company we have total confidence in our systems and realise continued on-going support for the whole life of the product is as important as the initial installation and commissioning.
Alternative Heat currently carryout response maintenance works and service contracts for a number of commercial and Social Housing projects. In the unfortunate event of a breakdown, Alternative Heat offers telephone support during normal office hours to diagnose a fault and aims to respond to all customers as quickly as possible.
Herz furnaces a 5-year warranty on the boiler body and storage devices. For electrical parts such as electric motors, service cabinets, ignition devices etc. we offer a 2-year warranty starting from the commissioning of the equipment.
As a precondition for the use of guarantees, annual maintenance must be completed by an Alternative Heat HERZ authorised engineer.
Wearing parts are excluded from the warranty. This largely concerns parts affected by combustion and fuel, such as screws, push-in screw, burning dish and plates, grilles, ventilation grilles, firebricks, secondary air rings and seals.
Precondition: Within 30 days of commissioning, the completed commissioning report and the warranty card must be sent to HERZ. Otherwise there is no claim under guarantee.
